Backtrack Fixed

After many trials and errors including Microsoft Virtual PC, booting from CD, I finally managed to get Backtrack running using VMware Player and a VMX script downloaded from Irongeek Now the only problem that I am facing that I cant connect to the internet/network. I have a standalone PC with DSL connection that requires authentication on ISPs site. It works fine with windows. But I cant seem to connect while running backtrack in VMware I tried all the commands ifconfig eth0 ipaddrs subnet dhcpcd ifconfig eth0 up etc etc. listed in threads here along with the IP address setting utility in BT.

Mayawati forced to pay 1.68 crore bill in order to restore her electricity connection in Uttar Pradesh. 😂 राज्य संपत्ति विभाग की ओर से बकाया बिजली बिल चुकाने के दबाव के बाद बसपा प्रमुख मायावती ने 30 मार्च को 1.68 करोड़ रुपये का भुगतान लेसा को किया। यह रकम तीन बिजली कनेक्शन पर बकाये की है। लेसा ने चेक लेने के बाद नौ दिन से कटे पड़े गेस्ट हाउस के दो कनेक्शन को जोड़ा तो परिसर रोशन हुआ। मायावती के माल एवेन्यू स्थित आवास पर स्टेट ऑफिसर यूपी के नाम से बिजली कनेक्शन है। इस आवास का भी लंबे समय से बिजली बिल नहीं भरा था। बकाये की रकम 94,41,241 रुपये पहुंच गई थी। लेसा ने बिल का पेमेंट न होने पर बिजली काटने का अल्टीमेटम दे दिया था। वहीं लाल बहादुर शास्त्री मार्ग स्थित बसपा के गेस्ट हाउस पर राज्य संपत्ति अधिकारी के नाम से दो बिजली कनेक्शन हैं। इन पर क्रमश : 45,69,719 रुपये एवं 27,99,768 रुपये का बिल कनेक्शन के समय से ही बाकी था। लेसा के निजीकरण का विरोध करने वाली संघर्ष समिति ने 23 मार्च को गेस्ट हाउस की बिजली काट दी थी। शासन की पैरवी पर लेसा ने सभी सरकारी कनेक्शन को बिल चुकाने के आश्वासन पर जोड़ दिया था, लेकिन बसपा गेस्ट हाउस के कनेक्शन को नहीं जोड़ा था। गेस्ट हाउस में नौ दिन तक अंधेरा रहा। इसके बाद मायावती ने 30 मार्च को बकाया बिल के मद में दो चेक लेसा को सौंपे। इसकी पुष्टि लेसा के एक उच्च अधिकारी ने की। उधर, पार्टी सूत्रों ने बताया कि लेसा ने चेक लेने के बाद 30 मार्च की शाम ही गेस्ट हाउस की बिजली जोड़ दी। किस कनेक्शन पर कितना बाकी था आवास--94,41,241 गेस्ट हाउस--45,69,719 गेस्ट हाउस--27,99,768 https://ift.tt/2pWxSAR
